Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

When you create an account or use LibraryOfNiche, we collect:

• Account data — email address and hashed password (or your Google account identifier if you sign in with Google).
• Billing data — payment transactions are processed by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription tier. We never see or store your full card number.
• Usage data — which articles you transform, which formats and tones you choose, and your point transaction history.
• Transform content — the AI-generated content we produce for you is stored so you can retrieve it later without spending additional points.

2. How we use your data

• To provide the transform service — your article selections and preferences are sent to our AI pipeline to generate content.
• To manage your account, points balance, and subscription.
• To send transactional emails (account confirmation, payment receipts). We do not send marketing emails without your consent.
• To prevent fraud and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising purposes. We share data only with:

• Supabase — our database and authentication provider.
• Stripe — for payment processing.
• Anthropic — article content is sent to Claude AI for transformation. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to data processed through their API.
• Tavily — our pipeline uses Tavily to search for verified sources. Queries may include article topic context.

4. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Transformed content is stored indefinitely so you can re-access it. If you delete your account, your data is removed from our active systems within 30 days.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email us at jumawanruel53@gmail.com.

6. Cookies

We use session cookies provided by Supabase for authentication. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

7. Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plaintext. Access to your data is restricted via row-level security policies in our database — your data is only accessible to your account.

8. Children

LibraryOfNiche is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the date above. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
